Using various sources of data, including environmental and demographic data, Speak for the Trees partnered with Boston University's Graduate Program in Urban Biogeoscience and Environmental Health (URBAN) to create an interactive map that explores the relationships between people, place, and tree canopy coverage in Boston. Thank you to all who joined us for our last event this tree season on Saturday, November 6th in Hyde Park at the Fairview Cemetery! Volunteers rolled up their sleeves and planted 40 trees. A HUGE thank you to TD Bank and Arborday Foundation for their financial support and to Boston Parks and Recreation Department for their partnership.
