Looking for something to do on Earth Day? Join us in bringing trees to Boston

We are excited for a full week of Arbor Week events that run from April 24 through April 30. As part of the festivities, we're giving away 1,400 seedlings to communities throughout the city.

But, we we need YOUR HELP bagging these seedlings for distribution. Join us on Earth Day, April 22nd, for a family-friendly outdoor event at the Seaport Common (with a rain location indoors at District Hall.) Join us to help bring the cheer of trees to residents throughout Boston. Free food, fun, and lots of trees!

What we did this week: Planting Trees in East Boston

April is a great time to plant trees! On Thursday, April 14th we dug holes with volunteers from Delta Air Lines and TreeEastie to plant 8 street trees in the Orient Heights neighborhood of East Boston. A huge thank you to our friends at Harrison McPhee for helping out with tree delivery, tree education, and just general amazing support and equipment.

A huge thank you to Boston Parks and Recreation Department for their partnership in this work.

We have trees looking for homes
  • Have a nearby park that could use some trees?
  • Is your street bare and hot in the summer?
  • Is your school or local business looking empty?

We're here to support community projects that will bring trees to you and your neighborhood. Please fill out our brief tree planting proposal form and we'll reach out.
