Our almost End-Of-Year wrap up
Teens in HERO Hope Garden
Welcoming our Teen Urban Tree Corps School Year Program

Earlier this month we welcomed five teens to our office to continue their work to increase Boston's tree canopies in Mattapan, Roxbury, and Hyde Park. The teens have spent the last two weeks revising and brainstorming their planting proposals and are just bubbling with great ideas! They have been working on a timeline for their projects and are in the process of refining their budgets. Other tasks they will be working on include ordering trees, receiving permission to plant, and doing community outreach. The main goal of their projects is to better the green spaces in Boston by increasing the canopy and working towards tree equity. Look for more information from the teens in the coming newsletters about opportunities to volunteer in April to help put these plans into fruition.
