Speak for the Trees is hiring team leaders and Boston teens for our 6 week summer Teen Urban Tree Corps (TUTC) program. TUTC has been one of our core programs programs over the past 4 years and we are thrilled to run it again this summer. Find out more and apply today at the links below.

Team Leaders are young adults, ages 19-24, who supervise youth in caring for Boston's tree canopy by engaging in tree identification, climbing, plantings, watering and more. This is a paid position of $17-$20/hr for 30 hours a week. Find out more and apply on our website.

Are you a Boston teen, ages 14-18, interested in learning how to improve Boston’s environment? Join us in caring for Boston’s trees, learning about careers in forestry, visiting some of Boston’s best green spaces, and more! Paid $15/hr for 25 hours a week throughout the six-week program.

MassCEC Summer Intern

Every spring, summer, and fall semester we seek an to help with communication and event planting. This intern works closely with staff to write newsletters, blog posts, and social media and assists with event coordination. This position is 30 hours / week during the summer semester. Two new staff positions
Tree Care Associate

We're seeking a Tree Care Associate to help water and care for trees throughout the city. This is an exciting opportunity to work outdoors in the community, building and sustaining Boston's urban forest. The Tree Care Associate will be supplied with a pickup truck that is outfitted with a watering tank and pump. As needed, they will also assist at tree planting and giveaway events.

Associate Director

The‌ Associate Director will direct and oversee programs. Working closely with the staff, they will oversee the daily operations of current projects, the development of new projects, the evaluation of current projects, the creation of metrics for project assessment and will assist in collaboration across the organization and in ensuring that projects are on schedule and on budget.
