The TUTC Program Coordinator will have primary responsibility for managing the day-to-day TUTC program. They will supervise Team Leaders and TUTC youth in the field or at events.

The TUTC Team Leader will supervise TUTC youth participants. The Team Leaders will work with and oversee a group of 4-5 teens.

We have a WHOLE bunch of exciting events planned for the week of April 24th-30th.

One quick way to get involved: help distribute free seedlings in your neighborhood. We're offering community groups, schools, and nonprofits free seedlings to distribute in their communities. We will provide seedlings and planting instructions with each seedling.

Other events this year will include forest bathing, a virtual talk regarding trees and mental health, and our Savor the Square Tree Giveaway. Stay tuned for more details soon!

We would like to introduce Claire Corcoran as our Community Tree Specialist! Claire is a Massachusetts Certified Arborist and has a Master of Forestry from Yale School of the Environment.

A lover of trees and cities, she has lived in Boston’s South End for the past twenty years and we are looking forward to having her as a part of our team. Please join us in welcoming Claire to our staff.

Are you a 5th - 8th grade teacher in Boston interested in teaching about trees in the classroom? Do you know a 5th - 12th grade teacher looking to bring nature into the classroom?

Speak for the Trees is developing tree curriculum for 5th - 8th grade teachers in subjects ranging from the sciences, to language arts, English, history, and art. We are looking for your help. Please fill out the Speak for the Trees Middle School Tree Curriculum Survey to help us cater our tree lessons to your needs. 

Join Temple Beth Israel on February 27 from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. for their environmental justice symposium, "Caring for Trees to Care for Our World." It will feature expert speakers discussing issues related to environmental justice, and solutions involving trees, including our Executive Director David Meshoulam. Their topics will range from contemporary work in which they are engaged, to religious, philosophic or historic knowledge and expertise.
