Spring is here...
and Arbor Week is just around the corner
We're kicking things off a month early at Brookline Booksmith from March 24-26

We love trees. Trees are noble, beautiful, and promote well-being. They protect us, filter our air and foster a sense of community. Books and trees are entwined; as we honor books, we must nurture trees. Speak for the Trees is proud to partner with Brookline Booksmith this week, March 24th- 26th, promoting tree related books as we gear up for Arbor Week.

Thank you to our departing board members

We wanted to take a moment to thank two departing board members, Atyia Martin our Board Chair and Joseph Stein, our Treasurer. For the past 3 years Atyia and Joe have leaned in, stepped up, and provided guidance to our organization. When they joined in January 2020 none of us knew what lay around the corner. Their insight, hard work, and leadership will be sorely missed. Thank you Atyia and Joe for all of your work. We know this isn't "good-bye", but rather "see you around."

"I would like to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to the Board for the opportunity to work alongside such an impressive group of individuals, passionate about protecting the environment, the power of trees, and social justice. Together, we have accomplished numerous achievements that have contributed to our community and the environment."

- Dr. S. Atyia Martin

"I am proud of the achievements we have created together. I look forward to the future growth of this great organization."
