We're growing our roots
Next week we move into a new office
Can you help us furnish it?

For the past 2 years we've been incubating in Fields Corner Business Lab (can't speak highly enough about this office - you gotta check them out!). But, we've outgrown our office and next week we'll be moving to 60 Clayton Street, just around the corner. It's a lovely space with lots of natural light. We're excited to host you soon!

But, with new offices come new needs. We've pulled together a wish list below. We'd love  your support so that we don't have to sit on the floor. Maybe your garage has one of these items that is looking for a new home? Or maybe you've just been itching to donate and this is the perfect reason? Whatever its we, and our backs, thank you!

Outdoor vinyl sign - so people know where we are ($2,000)
Office table - so we can have meetings ($500)
Cable modem and wifi- we we can continue blogging, tweeting, and, yes, working ($250)
Coffee Maker - so we can work after lunch again with clear heads ($100)
Toaster oven - so we can eat warm food ($50)
Bean bag chairs (Yes, we need our downtime too.)
Art work (something you've drawn before? A photo of a tree?)

Donate today - our backs thank you!

Forest Bathing with Tam Willey (Rescheduled)

On Saturday, May 27, make your way to the Arnold Arboretum and join certified forest therapy guide, Tam Willey, in a session on Forest Bathing. Forest Bathing, inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-yoku, is a restorative sensory exploration that supports health and healing for all beings. From increased cerebral blood flow to stronger immune defenses, come discover for yourself what happens when we unplug, slow down, and open our senses to notice more of our natural surroundings. Forest Bathing is part of a global effort to tend to the stressful conditions of living in modern industrialized civilization.

Dorchester Community Tree Walks

Thu May 25 & June 1 @ 5:30 pm

Tonight and next Thursday, June 1st, we will be in Dorchester taking a tree walk. During the planning of these walks we have shared stories, delved into the science behind trees, and explored a neighborhood map. Now, it's time to put all that knowledge into action and experience the beauty and significance of trees firsthand. We are meeting at 5:30 pm and will begin the walk at 6:00 pm.
