Gearing up for ArborWeek and Our Summer Program
Plus, meet our new Community Tree Specialist & learn about our summer job opportunities

This week's featured Teen Urban Tree Corps teen is Skylar Stadhard

Skylar's favorite tree is the ginkgo tree because not only does it have a fun name, but the tree also has a really pretty fan leaf shape. Her favorite bit of tree knowledge is that trees can live up to be incredibly old. She was excited to learn that there are trees In California that are over 4,000 years old! She has enjoyed learning about all of the different kinds of tree species and how they help positively impact our environment which is why she is excited to help develop a planting plan. She is looking forward for the planting plan to help to bring so much positive environmental change to their targeted communities.
