Are you ready for Arbor Week?
Join us for a week's worth of tree celebrations from April 24-30

This week's featured Teen Urban Tree Corps teen is Miriam Braxter

Miriam's favorite tree is the oak tree because it reminds her of her favorite tree in Minecraft. Her favorite subject so far has been learning about the process of pruning. What she's enjoyed the most about the program has been going to different locations and learning about the different trees and the history behind the reasoning for them. Her favorite visit where they did this was when they visited Spectacle Island. She is looking forward for all of the projects to be completed!

We are very excited to announce a week's worth of tree events

From tree walks to mushroom hunts, from tree giveaways to research talks - we are looking forward to for this year's Arbor Week.

No matter your interest - or schedule - there's something here for everyone. Check our calendar for events (and keep checking as we will update regularly).

Tree Walk-a-thon

Trees provide us all with life, connection, cooler temperatures, beauty, character, a feeling of home, perspective, clean air, and strong community. Let’s thank them and celebrate the Boston urban canopy together! Take a walk, ride, or roll (or two or three) among the trees in your neighborhood during Arbor Week (April 24-30) to raise awareness and funds for Tree Equity in Boston.
