How many trees line Boston’s streets? Help us find out!
For the past two years have educated and engaged residents, teens, and volunteers to inventory Boston’s street trees. Together, we have collected data on nearly 10,000 street trees and over 2,000 empty planting sites.
This project provides people an opportunity to learn about trees, identify tree species, and collect invaluable information on the trees and tree sites. You can see the results and engage with their work at OpenTreeMap.
