Every spring and fall we plant trees in private yards—for free!
Add to the green space around you through our NeighborWoods program. We partner with residents in Boston’s environmental justice communities to plant shade trees at homes or businesses.
Every tree planted helps increase the tree canopy, which reduces the heat island effect, cleans the air, and brings natural beauty to the neighborhood.
Please note that we are currently focused on planting in these communities: Dorchester, Hyde Park, Roxbury, and Mattapan.
