In the spirit of community, Speak for the Trees is proud to host Arbor Week, a week of events to celebrate the power and importance of trees.
Through a series of talks, walks, seedling giveaways (and more!) Arbor Week connects people to their community, their green spaces, and the environment.
Sponsorship opportunities for businesses of all sizes are available. This is a great chance for your company to demonstrate a commitment to environmental justice and community resilience and connect to 2,000+ residents throughout greater Boston and beyond.
Featured Events
- Arbor Day Tree Planting: Join us at Mount Hope Cemetery on Arbor Day as we plant 12 trees to expand our urban forest.
- Wake Up the Earth Tree Giveaway: Join us at Wake Up the Earth Festival as we give away trees and bag seedlings with community members. Trees and seedlings will be given away on a first come first serve basis.
- Forest Bathing: Tam Willey and Tasha Harris will lead guided therapeutic walks in Franklin Park and Arnold Arboretum, awakening our senses during and connecting us to nature.
- Seedling Giveaway: With volunteers and partner organizations, we’ll bag & distribute over 500 seedlings for community members.
