Please join Speak for the Trees at our second Teen Tree Summit, where we will celebrate youth doing exceptional work with environmental organizations and groups in the Greater Boston area. On Saturday, June 15th, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Weld Hill Research Building, we will celebrate a few partners selected by the current cohort of our Teen Urban Tree Corps. The event will include:
- Climate Anxiety Poetry Workshop
- Youth-led hands-on workshops
- Lunch
- Collaborative art project; “Trashion Show.”
- Attendees will be able to be part of an art project that uses repurposed clothing to contribute to collaborative, sustainable fashion designs.
- A raffle of items provided by partner organizations!
- Tabling by various environmental organizations, youth-serving organizations., and universities with environmental programs.
