Thanks to your support, we’ve planted more than 600 trees since 2018! As the recent bouts of extreme heat show, these young trees are facing hotter and drier summers. Our Mean Green Watering Machine (pictured above), amazing staff, and volunteers are working tirelessly to water our trees, but the scale of our planting success has stretched us to the limit.
A Collective Investment
Sustaining our trees requires a second truck and watering system. This essential equipment— a tank, two hoses, a hose reel, and sump pump— costs $2,500. Can you pitch in? Your gift to the Hot-Truck Summer Campaign will help fund these materials and promote healthier trees, cleaner air, and a more beautiful community for all residents.

This watering system needs a truck. We’re also seeking a new or used pickup truck that could find a new purpose in serving our community. And we’re asking everyone for help. Do you have a neighbor or friend with a pickup to donate or know a car dealership just itching to donate a pickup to your favorite nonprofit?
