We need your help to sustain the shade!
Hot and dry summer months make trees thirsty, and thirsty trees struggle. Not only are they less efficient at photosynthesis (and less beneficial for the environment), but they are less likely to survive and thrive.
Young, newly planted trees are especially vulnerable to the heat. We water each tree that we plant every week for 2 years* as part of our commitment to tree health. Right now, our Tree Team is watering 400+ trees weekly.

Our goal is to raise $55,000 by August 31, 2026. We hope you will help support this tree care, because it is essential to growing Boston’s tree canopy.
Your gift, in any amount, will keep a tree hydrated!
