In celebration of Arbor Week, Speak for the Trees is offering Boston community groups, schools, and nonprofits FREE seedlings to distribute in their communities. We’ll be distributing a variety of tree species, including white oak, tulip poplar, bald cypress, serviceberry, chinkapin oak, sweet gum, red mulberry, and Washington hawthorn.

Join writers Fay Ferency, Jess Rizkallah and Letta Neely as they read aloud their nature and tree-centered poetry and guide participants in a brief poetry writing workshop. Participants will then have the opportunity to enter the outdoors, craft their own tree-inspired poetry, and share their creations with the rest of the group, all alongside the assistance of the writers.
