Join us for the opening reception of Learning with Trees: Artists and Ecologies of Connection, a new exhibition bringing together local Boston artists who center trees as collaborators, teachers, and timekeepers.
Tree Boston is partnering with Martina Tanga, Independent Curator, to bring the exhibit to HallSpace in Dorchester (with a concurrent smaller show at Boston City Hall). The shows features painting, sculpture, textiles, installations, and participatory works that explore how trees communicate through underground networks, thrive in cooperative communities, and hold time across centuries. You can read Martina’s curatorial statement here.
The exhibition runs June 13 through August 14, 2026, at HallSpace at 950 Dorchester Ave in Dorchester. The opening reception on June 13 from 2-5PM is free and open to the public. Come meet the artists, explore the work, and deepen your connection to Boston’s urban forest.
