Join Speak for the Trees for a FREE Tree Giveaway at The Food Project, West Cottage Street Farm on Saturday, May 11th. We are excited to be in partnership with Arbor Day Foundation, Texas Roadhouse, and The Food Project, to share space and to giveaway trees with our local farming community.

Species include:
Kousa Dogwood, Japanese Stewartia, Southern Magnolia, Sourwood, Carolina Silverbell

Join us at Martin’s Park on Saturday April 27th where Kari Percival will read her book How to Say Hello to a Worm. 

This event is to celebrate the completion of our EPA funded tree walks in the communities of Dorchester, Mattapan, and East Boston. These tree walks aimed to raise awareness for the importance of trees in our urban environment and the vital role they play in improving the community. We were supported by an Environmental Justice grant from the Environmental Protection Agency. We will also be giving away 50 free trees.
